We, the people of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, are members of the Body of Christ. We celebrate the Risen Christ in our lives through the Sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist. We have been drawn together here in a Community of Faith, supporting one another by the richness of our God-given gifts and talents.
Filled with the Holy Spirit, we are a People who make Jesus present in our actions. Our mission is to be water to the thirsty, food for the hungry, solace for the weary, forgiveness for the fallen, hope for the oppressed, faith for those who doubt, strength for the weak, love for the estranged and peace to those in turmoil. We are called to worship together as a parish family and share our faith with our children and neighbors.
We seek to fulfill our baptismal call by living the word of God through our ministry to the poor and our work for justice and peace. We endeavor to bring Christ into the world through our liturgical, educational and social outreach ministries.
